Value of Freedom

Rahul was super excited about the field trip that evening from school to the nearby village. It was starting to get dark when the school bus reached the village and with the guide in front, the group started walking through the paddy field.
Fireflies started appearing one by one and in a few minutes the students where able to see hundreds of them on bushes and trees.
After looking around for sometime, Rahul started capturing fireflies to keep in his bottle, just like a few of his friends and they headed back.
He got into the lift after getting back from the field trip, with the bottle of fireflies.
The electricity went off and the lift got stuck in the middle. With no way to find help, fear engulfed Rahul. Stuck inside a metal box for a few minutes, Rahul understood the value of freedom.
To his relief, the lift started working again and he got out. Realising the mistake he committed, Rahul opened the bottle to set the fireflies free. They flew away and blended in to the starry sky.
