Gandhi for the Elderly

To make the website accessible to the needs of the elderly, the following has been taken into consideration:

• Text style and text layout:
  Use of high contrast text, use of black letterings, simple single column layout, only left aligned text, reasonable length of sentence, use of single typeface Ek Mukta
• Color and contrast:
  Use of high contrast, mostly text in 100% black on 5% white background or text in yellow on 100% black, mostly no text in images
• Multimedia:
  Voice in all dynamic content has audio descriptions seperately
• Keyboard Use:
  The keynoard can be used as an alternate to the use of mouse functions
• The controls:
  These are provided on the top bar - Screen Reader, High Contrast and Text Sizes
