Back when I had been younger I enjoyed going on little "adventures" around my house and one day something had compelled me to go to the wooded area behind my house, where I came upon an injured creature.

I was terrified, but as I looked into the eyes of the dragon I felt it's pain and decided to take it home and take care of it. The dragon had intelligence and was quick to learn, so I kept it hidden in the woods out back and made it promise to never hurt any humans.

Unfortunately, the dragon was discovered by the people of the town. Unbeknownst to me, they gathered together to chase the dragon and attacked it with batons and bullets.

When I found out what was going on I ran to it, while shouting, don't hurt them, please, don't hurt them. I ran over to the dragon and begged it to run away, when I was hit in the shoulder by a stray bullet. Suddenly there was silence, as the people were horrified that they had hurt me. I knew the dragon wanted to attack the people but it looked at me and knew it had to keep it's promise to not harm humans.

People rushed to attend to me and I thought, thank you, as I saw the dragon run away.
