Introduction

In the year of 1930 Gandhi decided to start movement against untouchability. It is the result of Ambedkar's challenge of social reform had to take on a priority basis over politics. This campaign began on November 7, 1933 at a village Selu, near Wardha where he opened a temple to 'untouchables'. He used his tours to spread the message and to collect the money for untouchable campaign.
