Vinoba Bhave is considered as a National Teacher of India and the spiritual successor of Mohandas Gandhi. He was accompanied Gandhiji in Indian independence movement. May times he stayed in Sabarmati ashram and delivered talks on the Bhagwad Geeta. The cottage where he stayed named after him as 'Vinoba Kutir'. He was chosen as first individual Satyagrahi (an individual standing up for Truth instead of a collective action) against the British rule in 1940. A longstanding disciple of Gandhi, Vinoba Bhave started several movements such as Bhoodan movement, Sarvodaya movement and so on.
